Empowering Korean American youth to lead with confidence

Who We Are

Let KAYA aim not merely to ‘accommodate’ the university or to stop at formal activities, but to ardently and sincerely love Korean leaders through outstanding abilities and a sense of responsible association.

The program curriculum consists of public speaking, professional writing, covenant participation, mental health education, CPR training, association education, community service, clean reporter activities, enabling students to expand their communication skills and understanding of the community through blockrums that prevent scope limitations.

Young reporter activities have established themselves as an important experience for minorities to directly cultivate critical thinking and expressive skills, which are particularly helpful for covering key local issues and contributing their work to online media.

Impact Stories

Cathena Woo – Finding My Voice

Before joining KAYA, I was afraid of speaking in front of others. Through public speaking training, reporter activities, and community service, I gained confidence and learned how to communicate with purpose. Today, I proudly represent my community and inspire others to make a positive difference.

Eric Choi– Growing Through Service

KAYA taught me that leadership begins with serving others. By participating in volunteer projects, association programs, and leadership training, I developed responsibility, teamwork, and compassion. These experiences have prepared me to become a leader who creates lasting impact in both my community and beyond.
